My story begins with my family, my favorite subject to photograph. I began taking pictures as a little girl, using my dad's film cameras.
Those same cameras grace the walls in my home.
The interest followed me through school and on to Indiana University where I spent the majority of my time there as a photographer and photo editor for the Indiana Daily Student. It was then that I truly developed my passion for documenting life in all it's highs and sometimes often lows.
Following school, and during my "what do I do with my life" phase, I worked with three large portrait studios and as a freelance assistant in Indianapolis.
I then followed my work back to Northeast Indiana to work as
Chief Photographer for KPC Media Group.
My time there was spent working with members of the community, documenting sporting events, breaking news,
and creating content for features.
It was in 2012 when my favorite photo subject was born and we moved to Chicago where I started my business as a portrait photographer.
I now reside in Glen Ellyn, IL and have added another favorite subject to the family. I love my family. I love my cats. I love Chicago. I love the lake.
And I LOVE capturing every little detail of your crazy
and beautifuly unique world.
